About Brian

Brian Patanjo's been "lovin' the music" and playing guitar as long as he can remember. From a child only nine years old performing on MTV, to an adult touring with "Tops in Blue" in the United States Air Force and currently making music "his own", his roots have always been "pullin the strings" with funk, rhythm and blues. Wherever the music takes him, his musicianship and style always goes over the top.

Brian along with his group, Shades of Blue, offers the best in blues, 70s r&b and beyond. Their special brand of fine musicianship and breadth of experience as entertainers for corporate events, festivals, night clubs and private parties is what makes Shades of Blue a top shelf act!
